DESCRIPTION
The Reki Blended Whisky is a Japanese whisky produced by Helios Distillery in Okinawa. It is made in limited quantities by blending malts matured for periods ranging from 3 to 18 years in American oak casks.
Elegant and distinctive, Reki was awarded a Gold Medal at the Stuttgart International Spirits Competition in 2019, confirming its status as a sought-after and uncommon expression.
TASTING NOTES
On the nose: herbal and aromatic, with delicate hints of mandarin.
On the palate: malt and orange notes emerge first, followed by sweeter nuances reminiscent of cassata, orange cake and custard, with a fresh touch of lemon. The finish is pleasantly honeyed, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
