DESCRIPTION
Plum liqueur with a golden color and a typical sweet taste with a subtle acidity. It has a fruity aroma of ripe plum and apricot, enriched with herbal and balsamic notes.
To make this umeshu, three different types of plums (Nanko Ume, Banisashi Ume, Bungo Ume) are used, all directly cultivated by the Hirooka winery. The plums are infused for 4 months together with herbs and spices such as anise, fennel, and chamomile. Organic Tochi honey and Magei syrup (glucose from cactus) are then added to this infusion, contributing natural sweetness and complexity to the liqueur.
The result is an intense and fragrant liqueur, perfect for those looking for a balanced flavor between sweetness and freshness, with a rich and enveloping aromatic profile.
