DESCRIPTION
Considered the best and most popular barley shochu in Japan, made with "Nishinohoshi" barley and the purest spring fresh water from Mount Osuzu.
Aged in wooden barrels for over three years to help it develop fullness and structure, and minimally filtered to preserve the aromas. Despite the high alcohol content of 40%, it remains very delicate.
AROMATIC NOTES
On the nose, one perceives honey, broom, lychee, currant, milk chocolate, and toasted notes. Rich and warm on the palate, it has strong notes of puffed rice and toasting, with a persistent and aromatic finish.
To be drunk neat or with ice. It is also perfect mixed, paired for example with fruit or fruit juices (such as apple and grapefruit).
