DESCRIPTION
The "Rare Old Super Nikka Whiskey" is a blend introduced in 1962 by Masataka Taketsuru, founder of the Nikka distillery, as a tribute to his late wife Rita. The shape of the bottle alone shows that this is not a conventional whiskey. Connoisseurs love it for its malty, herbaceous and peaty notes, complemented by a hint of sherry.
AROMATIC NOTES
On the nose: rich and tasty aromas of quince, ripe pear and honey, with notes of peat and sherry.
Taste: soft, balanced and round, harmonious; with a long and pleasant finish of caramel and slightly smoky tones.
