DESCRIPTION
Ginger liqueur based on the exquisite Junmai Daiginjo Tatenokawa. A fruity sake with a sharp and spicy aroma, offering a refreshing and peppery flavor, typical of ginger. An explosion of ginger balanced by a delightful sweetness. The ginger is harvested in Kochi Prefecture (located on the Pacific coast of Shikoku Island), an area famous for its fruit cultivation.
A must-have for ginger lovers. It can be served chilled and neat, on the rocks, or with soda. Perfect as an aperitif, dessert wine, or simply enjoyed on a summer day with plenty of ice. A superb pairing is with tempura.
CURIOSITY
To make kajitsu shu (fruit-infused sake), you can start with a sake base and add peel or fruit, or use a distilled base (which will give it a bolder character).
