DESCRIPTION
This light sakura liqueur, made from Japanese cherry blossoms, is pure poetry. It contains real cherry blossoms macerated in alcohol and sugar syrup. With a delicate pink color, it has notes of wild red berries and white flowers, with an elegant and refreshing style.
Ideal as an aperitif or with delicate desserts such as meringue or panna cotta. Great potential as a cocktail ingredient.
The producer, Kitaoka Honten, is located in the city of Yoshino, south of Nara; founded in 1868, it began with the fermentation of soy sauce and sake until Sojuro, one of the heirs of the property, saw the potential of distilling and fermenting local fruit and flora. Today, Kitaoka Honten has built a reputation throughout Japan for its extraordinary liquors.
